Provider Portal for Kent County Council

We’ve worked with many local authorities to implement Provider Portals. These offer digital solutions and enhance social care that is fit for the 21st Century.

We’ve recently carried this out for Kent County Council, one of the biggest local authorities in the UK where there are more than 2000 providers, and each can typically have up to 100 cases. The portal essentially offers a digital gateway for social care where providers can upload and submit invoices, receipts and other documentation without the need to print or send anything in the post. This delivers massive efficiencies and reductions in terms of staff time, volume and turnaround.

The Provider Portal we delivered in Kent also provides contract management, including online self-service financial assessment tools so residents who need care can access their services online. This means they don’t have to physically come into an office, since it gives them an indication of how much they might have to pay towards the cost of their care.

 

We’re now working closely with Bedford Council to provide a similar Provider Portal, offering greater social care efficiencies and increased productivity across the borough.
